Getting started

1. Open drive.zcloud.cz.
2. Sign in with email and password, or a ZCLOUD account (Microsoft Entra).
3. Create a folder and upload files. Find them later by searching their name.
4. Deleted items sit in the trash and can be restored.

The desktop and mobile apps (Windows, Android, iOS) sync by block: only the changed parts, about 4 MB each, are uploaded.

Sharing

Create a public link for a file or folder. Choose read or write permission and optionally an expiry date. You can revoke a link at any time. Anyone with the link has access, so send it with care.

Versions

Overwriting a file stores a new version. Open the history to see older versions and restore one. A restore is recorded as a new version, so nothing is lost.

Connect Claude (MCP)

1. In Claude open Settings > Connectors.
2. Click Add custom connector.
3. Paste https://mcp.drive.zcloud.cz/mcp.
4. Sign in and approve read/write access (OAuth 2.1, no API key needed).

Instead of OAuth you can use a personal access token with read or write scope.

Security notes

• Deleting through MCP moves to trash and never erases.
• Overwriting a file creates a new version.
• The assistant only sees what you approve, and you can revoke OAuth access.
• Treat public links like passwords. Use expiry and revoke links you no longer need.
• Keep personal access tokens secret.
